In search of renovation and demolition projects

For our project 'It's all there!', which deals with the reuse of building components, we are looking for buildings in the city of Zurich that are being converted or demolished in order to hold various reuse workshops in 2021.

We follow up on the individual pieces of information, visit the buildings, document the different materials and components and their suitability for circular building. On our tours through the city we located some buildings, learned stories about the building itself but also about the conversion and demolition projects and met interested people. At the same time, we were shocked at how much valuable building fabric - in the sense of qualitatively built, high-quality living space for residents and important reference point for the neighbourhood - is lost through demolition.

Your support may enable us to hold a workshop or an action in your proposed building. In addition, concrete information about conversion and demolition projects enables us to enter them on a map, which we will display in our exhibition on the project 'It's all there!
